Editorial policy

Every guide, comparison page, calculator explainer, and blog post on this site is written by the three founders of YPA Group Inc., the company behind YPA-FINANCE: Olga Burninova (Founder and CEO), Victoria Mitelman (Co-Founder and CPO), and Svetlana Burninova (Co-Founder and CTO). We do not use ghostwriters or content farms.

Each of us moved to the U.S. or another country as an adult and learned its financial system from scratch. Svetlana spent 15 years in finance roles before moving into cloud engineering. That lived experience is the reason the site exists, and it shapes what we choose to explain.

Every page shows who wrote it and when it was last reviewed. Author pages describe each founder's background and role, and every article links to its author.

For U.S. consumer-finance facts we start with primary sources: the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Federal Reserve, and card issuers' own disclosures and cardholder agreements. When we cite a statistic, we name the source next to it.

For comparison pages, we re-check each competitor's published pricing, features, and language support before publishing and periodically after that. Each comparison page shows a "last reviewed" date so you can see how current the information is. Prices and features change; if a page looks out of date, tell us and we will re-verify it.

Calculators describe their formulas and assumptions in plain language on the page, so you can check the math yourself.

We do not accept payment for placement in our comparison pages, and we do not earn affiliate commissions from the financial products, banks, or apps we mention. No company we compare against has reviewed or approved what we say about it.

We do not write positive coverage in exchange for links, and we do not run sponsored posts. If that ever changes, we will label the content clearly and update this policy first.

YPA-FINANCE is an AI-powered app, and we use AI in our own work as well. We may use AI-assisted tools for drafting, editing, and translating website content. Every page is reviewed by a founder before it is published, and every fact, price, and formula is checked by a person.

The AI features inside the app (the assistant and the smart scanner) are separate from this website's editorial content and are described on their own pages.

The site is available in 13 languages: English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Polish, French, and Portuguese. English is the source language for most pages.

Translations are produced with AI-assisted tools and reviewed by our team. Our founders are multilingual and check the languages they speak themselves; native-speaker review of the remaining languages, including right-to-left layout checks for Arabic and Hebrew, is an ongoing effort rather than a finished one. If a translation reads badly or changes the meaning, please email us and we will fix it.

If you find an error, an outdated price, a broken link, or a bad translation, email hello@ypa.finance. We read every message.

When we confirm an error we fix the page and update its "last reviewed" date.
